BelAir Networks, a provider of mobile broadband multi-service wireless
mesh network solutions, will now provide Service Level Agreements
(SLAs) for municipal wireless deployments, with Minneapolis being the
first city to receive performance guarantees for its municipal wireless
mesh network. This is an important development because achieving
wireless network reliability and quality can be difficult. The new
program insures that the vendor, BelAir networks, will provide the
necessary equipment to bring performance up to expectation if the
original design does not meet this standard. Communities can use such
service level agreements to help ensure they get the network they want.
